Ecotopia
In 2006, the International Center for Photography presented its second triennial exhibition of contemporary photography and video. This year’s exhibit, called Ecotopia, records the responses of a variety of artists and photographers to the challenges created by environmental changes. More than 40 artists and photographers, representing more than 20 countries, participated. One of the exhibited works, Mitch Webster’s shot of West Virginia’s Amos Coal Power Plant, ran in the January-February issue of the magazine. Here are four additional works.
